Experience
I have 18 years’ experience working in the museum and heritage sector, which has included working for charities and organisations championing natural and cultural heritage. This has included the National Trust, Exmoor National Park Authority, the Royal Cornwall Museum, Plymouth Museum, the Royal Albert Memorial Museum (RAMM), and the Bridging the Tamar Visitor and Learning Centre.
During this time I have worked with collections, industrial heritage, and communities, in the fields of learning, visitor engagement, volunteering, interpretation, funder liaison, project management, and audience development. I have worked with a range of wildlife, community and environmental partners and built up a good network across the UK.
A commitment to sustainability
I am certified as Carbon Literate and completed a Ecology and Economy course at the Schumacher College (part of Plymouth University’s MA in Regenerative Economics), which explores ways in which communities and individuals can bring sustainable approaches to the environmental and economic crises we face today.
