Hi! I am Mary Olszewska (ol – shess – ka)
I am a freelance consultant providing evaluation and project management services for the arts, heritage and third sectors, with a focus on supporting projects which aim to provide positive change for people and planet.
Based in Devon, UK, but working with organisations far and wide.
With a degree in Heritage Education and Interpretation and a 20 year career in museums, National Parks and the National Trust, I bring a range of insight and experience to support you and your organisations.
During my career I have worked with collections, industrial heritage sites and communities, in the fields of learning, visitor engagement, volunteering, interpretation, audience development and evaluation.
I have worked with a range of wildlife, community and environmental partners and built up a good network across the UK. I also set up the Sandford award-winning Bridging the Tamar Centre.
A commitment to sustainability
I am certified as Carbon Literate and completed a Ecology and Economy course at the Schumacher College (part of Plymouth University’s MA in Regenerative Economics), which explores ways in which communities and individuals can bring sustainable approaches to the environmental and economic crises we face today.
